'Color Joy' Lusterware Large Planter

Thrown on the potter’s wheel from porcelain and shaped into a funky, curvy form, this planter is finished in a bright, layered glaze combination. The piece was then fired multiple times, including a special reduction firing, to develop the unique luster finish.

It has copper and rainbow iridescence highlighting areas of the surface, with gold threaded glaze drips through the turquoise. The result is wild and vivid, full of color, and completely one-of-a-kind.

A one-of-a-kind piece, made to be lived with and enjoyed.

✨ Note on Lusterware: The shimmering, metallic finish of luster glazes is notoriously difficult to capture in photographs. I’ve done my best to represent each piece faithfully, but part of their magic is how they transform in real life, shifting with the light and offering new surprises from every angle.
