'Silver Linings' Lusterware Droplet Sound Sculpture

This one-of-a-kind sound sculpture is made from stoneware and shaped into an organic droplet form on the pottery wheel. The glaze has a gorgeous flowing luster finish and shifts in different lighting, with enormous depth.

Silvery pewter and smoky grey wrap the whole form, with pearlescent rainbow streaks surfacing as it turns, and shimmering drips over toasty speckled clay.

Clay beads are sealed inside, creating a soft, earthy rattle when gently shaken… subtle, soothing, and deeply grounding. The surface is finished in layered glaze combinations, allowing color, texture, and movement to develop in an intuitive and expressive way. Each piece is entirely unique.

It’s a piece to hold, to listen to, to return to… whether as part of a daily ritual or simply as a beautiful object with quiet presence.

✨ Note on Lusterware: The shimmering, metallic finish of luster glazes is notoriously difficult to capture in photographs. I’ve done my best to represent each piece faithfully, but part of their magic is how they transform in real life, shifting with the light and offering new surprises from every angle.
